Thank you for your interest in joining the Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS®.


In order to apply for Primary Membership you must:

(1) Have a Pennsylvania Real Estate License

(2) Ensure your sponsoring Broker is a Primary or Secondary Member of Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS®.


In order to apply for Secondary Membership you must:

(1) Have a Pennsylvania Real Estate License

(2) Ensure your sponsoring Broker is a Primary or Secondary Member of Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS®

(3) Provide a Letter of Good Standing from your Primary Association


In order to apply for MLS-Only Membership you must:

(1) Have a Pennsylvania Real Estate License

(2) Ensure your sponsoring Broker is a Member of Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service

(3) Provide a Letter of Good Standing from your Primary Association


Please note that all application fees and dues are pro-rated upon joining. State, National, Local, and MLS dues are collected by the local association and dispersed. When applying, you will become a member of National Association of REALTORS®, Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® and Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS®.

All boards have a no refund policy.


If, for whatever reason, you are unable to submit the application using this form or if you encounter technical difficulties while completing the application please contact our office via email.

Only COMPLETE applications will be accepted.

If you are not currently a member of any other Association or Board then this is where you’ll want to start.

An individual is a primary member if they pay local, state and national dues through the Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS®. Primary members are able to vote, serve on committees / Board of Directors and receive AHAR member benefits.

Annual Dues are based on the month your license is sponsored by your broker. If you were sponsored prior to this current month you will owe additional dues and a separate invoice for the balance will be emailed to you before your application is processed.

Secondary in-state membership with the Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS® means that you have primary membership in the State of Pennsylvania with another local board and your state and national dues are paid through that association. Some individuals will choose to have their primary membership with one board and secondary membership at other boards so they can receive the benefits of membership from each local board, such as, voting and serving on committees or the Board of Directors. We require a Letter of Good Standing prior to final processing of all membership applications.

Secondary out-of-state membership with the Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS® means that you have primary membership outside of Pennsylvania with another local board. Your state and national dues are paid through that association. Some individuals will choose to have their primary membership with one board and secondary membership at other boards so they can receive the benefits of membership from each local board, such as, voting and serving on committees or the Board of Directors. We require a Letter of Good Standing prior to final processing of all membership applications.

In order to have MLS-Only Membership with the Allegheny Highland Association of REALTORS® you must hold REALTOR® membership at another association. If you are an agent, the Designated Broker must hold membership before you can join our MLS. We require a Letter of Good Standing prior to final processing of all membership applications. MLS-Only Membership provides you with full access to Flex MLS. MLS-Only Members do not have voting privileges and cannot serve on committees or the board of directors and do not receive AHAR member benefits.
